Our estimating and design team can take a simple grading plan, provide an accurate proposal, and deliver signed and sealed shop drawings with an emphasis on each client’s particular needs. We are experienced with mechanically-stabilized earth structures (MSE) including segmental walls (SRW), welded wire face reinforced (WWR), and reinforced soil slopes (RSS).
In the past 3 years PVL has installed over 1.4 million square feet of various types retaining wall systems. In 2014 alone, we completed engineered structural retaining wall contracts totaling 414,101SF on 65 projects utilizing up to 8 crews, 1380 crew days, 6,900 man days, 65,550 working hours with 0 recordable injuries, and 65 satisfied customers. A typical crew size is 4 to 8 men including a working foreman, operators, and laborers. Our standard equipment package includes a trackhoe, skidloader, rammax, and crew truck. As size of project and backfill requirements grow we add a company owned roller and loader as needed.
